Practice, Practice, Practice

Practice keeping the failure away. When we talked to students who pass the exam with flying colours, they always attribute their success to the time spend to practice. Statistically, they did at least 3 round of practice test before sitting for the exam. Here's why: First round, you get to know the questions. Second round, you gain familiarity. In the third round, you have the speed. By the time you did at least three rounds, you will be sufficiently familiar with the technique needed and have the skills at your fingertips. Here's 6 other studying tips for MOS success

1. Get Organised

The program is divided into three segments: Learnt, Practice and Exam. Throughout the program you guide will be there with you via whatsapp. Where you will be motivated to move on to the next phase at your own pace.

2. Pay attention during the lesson

It’s important to concentrate and avoid distractions when the instructor is speaking. Especially with Video based learning. Practice active listening by concentrating on what’s being said and taking notes in your own words. This will help make sure you hear (and understand) what is being taught.

3. Steer Clear of distractions

Distractions are everywhere—from cell phones to social media to friends and family. Be aware of what distracts you in class and know how to steer clear of these distractions. Avoid sitting next to a family if you know you will be distracted. Turning off your cell phone will also help make sure you are paying attention to your teacher.

4. Schedule time slots for studying

Schedule a study time. When you plan them, they will be doable. Identify a moment where you can focus. To some people, it works best by waking up earlier or sleep slightly later, studying during lunch breaks. To some, it will be 15 minutes before the gym. It is essential to find a time and slot it in and commit to it.

5. Review as many times as you like
The beauty of video learning is you can repeat the Video as many times as you will. You can always pause and restart again as many time as you need. Watch until you understand. If you need help, your guide is just one WhatsApp away.

6. Study in short bursts

Have you heard of the statistic which says: for every 30 minutes you study, take a short 10-15 minute break to recharge. Short study sessions are more effective and help you make the most of your study time. Know your study style. If you better with a short burst, take the break and come back. Most important is you take the steps needed to study and progress.
